This project started out as a knockdown rebuild by Masterton Homes. This particular site had its fair share of issues well before we even got started. With Landscaping being an afterthought to the build, this meant that access was a problem we had to deal with, and with the site having a fall of over 14m from front to back this meant there was a lot of retaining and levels to deal with.
The clients were happy with the layout we designed which we thought would suit the new homes shape and feeling. The clients wished for and area extending from their alfresco where they could see the kids playing even when on another level. The low maintenance plants and tiered walls provided this outcome as they required.
A rather large water feature was supplied by the client and set on the lower level of the rear yard which makes for a great conversation starter at any gatherings.
The front yard had to include the retainment of the existing gum tree which although came with its own issues, worked quite well with the design and layout of the front Tasman walls.
Overall, the clients were more than happy with the final result and felt that the finished landscaping really complimented their new home hand in hand and couldn’t of imagined it would turn out anything like this. “Daniel and his team, have done an amazing job. Everything that was promised was definitely delivered and more. We couldn’t recommend Summit Landscapes enough, Thank you.”
